Privacy Policy

Block You Test Me is a free friendship quiz maker at blocktestme.com. This page says, in plain words, what we keep, what we don’t, and what you can do about it.

The short version

You don’t need an account. We don’t connect to social media, and we don’t sell data. The answers you write for a quiz stay with that quiz.

What we store

• Quiz content. The questions and answers you write, so your friends can play them and you can see how they did.
• Player answers. When a friend plays your quiz, we store the name they type in, their guesses, and their score, so you can see who scored what.
• Basic technical data. Like almost every website, we log generic things such as browser and device type and which pages get visited, to keep the site running and to understand overall traffic.

What we don’t touch

We don’t ask for your email or phone number to use the service. We don’t connect to your social accounts, your contacts, or your messages. No quiz on this site can read anyone’s block list, and we don’t try.

Public and private links

The public link is the one you share with friends so they can play. The results link shows scores and answers, and anyone holding it can view them, so it’s worth keeping that one to yourself. Deleting your quiz makes both links stop working.

Cookies and local storage

We use your browser’s local storage to remember the quizzes you make and the results you play on the same device. It stays in your browser, and you can clear it any time in your browser settings. If we add analytics later to count visits in aggregate, we will name it here.

Ads

We may show ads to keep the site free. Ad partners such as Google may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can turn off personalized ads in your Google Ads Settings, or opt out of many third-party cookies at aboutads.info.

Third parties that help run the site

Right now, our hosting company is the only outside service involved. It handles data under its own privacy policy. If we enable ads or traffic analytics later, this page will name those providers and what they collect.

Keeping and deleting data

A quiz and its results stay on our servers until the quiz is deleted. You can delete a quiz at any time from your private results link, and the public link stops working right away. If you’d like anything else removed, email us.

Children

The site isn’t meant for children under 13. If you think a younger child has entered information here, email us and we’ll remove it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we’ll update the date at the top of the page.
